Information Technology? Sounds boring…
In the opinion of most people, yeah you’re right. But not at Back Bay Networks. Here, information technology is our job, our passion, and yes sadly…our life. And since this is our life, we’d like to share some interesting facts from the technology world that I bet you didn’t know:
Did you know: Just one gigabyte (GB) of computer memory is equivalent to storing a stack of documents that would reach around the height of an average two story house. The average computer has around 100 GB of memory.
Did you know: The processor in the first Apple computer is 1,000 times slower than today’s Apple IPad.
Did you know: It would take 1,000,000 human brains to store all of the information on the internet.
Did you know: Computers will eliminate the human race by year 2015. (Just kidding, but maybe someday….)
Information technology is pretty fascinating and often very complex. For any of your computer and IT issues please reach out to us, we’d be happy answer any questions or set up a time for a free onsite consultation.
That does it for our first blog post. Short, sweet and a few random facts we hope you enjoyed! There will be more blogs to come, please leave some feedback on what you’d like to see in our future posts!
